BETTY HANNA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship Opportunity
The HSPA Foundation has established a scholarship fund on behalf of former Executive Director, Betty Hanna. Hanna was a true pioneer in the profession and served as HSPA (formerly ‘IAHCSMM’) Executive Director for 48 years. She was an integral part of the Association from its inception in 1958. Hanna’s more than 50 years of service were a testament to her commitment to serving and supporting Sterile Processing professionals worldwide and ensuring that the organization met and exceeded those professionals’ ongoing needs on all fronts—from education to certification. She strongly encouraged individuals to continue their education and pursue professional advancement opportunities.
These scholarships provide $2,500 in educational assistance to students seeking to pursue a secondary or graduate degree in the healthcare field. The scholarship can be used toward tuition and course materials.
