HSPA Leadership

HSPA is governed by an elected Board of Directors, responsible for positioning the Association to best serve our members while maintaining the Association’s focus and vision. The Board establishes policy, directs Association activities, and oversees finances and chapter activities.

The Board is comprised of a President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Executive Director, as an ex-officio member, as well as six elected Directors.

HSPA BYLAWS

Bylaws are the rules that govern a not-for-profit group, essentially serving as the organization's constitution. HSPA's bylaws:

  1. Provide a written set of rules for the Association

  1. Provide for meetings, elections of a Board of Directors and officers, filling vacancies, notices, types and duties of officers, committees, assessments, and other routine conduct

  1. Establish the Association’s major structural units

  1. Are a contract among members and must be formally adopted and/or amended by vote of the membership.
