Welcome to Endoscope Reprocessing

2nd Edition Endoscope Reprocessing Manual

Today’s healthcare environment relies on more than instruments and supplies. It also requires complex devices such as flexible endoscopes, rigid and semi-rigid endoscopes, and probes. These sophisticated devices require special handling and detailed, multi-step reprocessing practices. Reprocessing technicians must have specific knowledge of each device’s intricate design and be able to perform cleaning, testing, inspection and sterilization or disinfection in accordance with established instructions for use. Reprocessing technicians must also stay updated on standards and guidelines that impact the devices they reprocess.

HSPA has developed endoscope reprocessing resources that may be purchased as a standalone manual and workbook—or for greater savings, it can be combined into a boxed course (includes both the manual and workbook).
