With over two decades of experience in Sterile Processing, I have dedicated my career to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical instrument care. My journey began with a deep passion for healthcare excellence, and through relentless commitment and continuous education, I have become a respected expert and mentor in the field. 

Throughout my 22-year career, I have held diverse roles (technician, coordinator, supervisor, educator and manager), gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of sterilization, workflow optimization, compliance with industry standards, and fostering effective team collaboration. My leadership has been instrumental in improving operational efficiency and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, consistently leading to superior patient outcomes. 

My dedication extends beyond my immediate responsibilities. I have actively participated in industry forums, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives, advocating for innovation and best practices in Sterile Processing. My peers recognize me for my unwavering professionalism, ability to solve complex challenges, and passion for mentoring the next generation of Sterile Processing professionals. 

As a candidate for the HSPA Board of Directors, I bring a unique combination of extensive experience, a proven track record of leadership, and a forward-thinking vision for the future of Sterile Processing. I aim to represent the voices of professionals in the field, drive meaningful change, promote professional development opportunities and enhance the association’s role as a leader in education, advocacy and support for the profession.  

My mission is to elevate the importance of Sterile Processing within the healthcare community, ensuring every facility has access to the tools, education and resources needed to deliver exceptional care. My 22 years of dedication and passion for excellence make me an ideal choice to serve on the HSPA Board of Directors.
