Merriam-Webster defines education as gaining knowledge, skill, and development from study or training. On the other hand, training is determined by the Cambridge English Dictionary as learning the skills one needs to do a particular job or activity. As is evident from these definitions, while education and training are related, they are not the same. As a teaching medical center, we wanted our staff to know the difference. Educating the next generation of healthcare workers is essential to us.
