HSPA Announces Board of Director Election Results
The Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) is pleased to announce the election results for four Board of Director positions.
Anthony Bondon, BSM, CRCST, CHL, Manager of Central Sterile Processing, Perioperative Services Department for HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, has been elected as the Association’s next President-Elect. He will serve consecutive one-year terms as President-Elect (2023-2024), President (2024-2025) and Past President (2025-2026). Bondon previously served a two-year term as a Director on the HSPA Board (2018-2020).
Joining Bondon are the following three Directors, all of whom will serve a two-year term (2023-2025): Kenneth Campbell, BS, CRCST, CIS, CHL, CER, Director of Sterile Processing for Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass..; Deannard A.M. Esnard, CRCST, CIS, CHL, CER, CFER, CQIA, Manager, Central Sterile Supply & Surgical Services Inventory for Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pa.; and Sara Vinson, MBA, CRCST, Sterile Processing Director for UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Fla.
“Each of these individuals will bring valuable experience, insights and perspectives to the HSPA Board,” said HSPA Executive Director and CEO Susan Adams, BS, CAE. “We are eager to work alongside our new and current Board members to support HSPA’s strategic plan and our growing and diverse membership.”
The new Board members took office on May 10, 2023.
